Endurance in Namibia

Namibia is a country with re a lot of space, combined with beautiful nature and wildlife a perfect country for horseback riding. A lot of namibians are riding endurance rides. Namibians are talking about "uithouritten"

The horsesof katjapia are already widely used for herding (cattle driving) and are in perfect condition to do long distance rides. During an endurance ride you'll also meet everbody. Often there is a whole weekend to you coupled with braai and dance.

On Katjapia are ideal for horse riding with our Arab horses. They are experienced endurance horses. Several weekends a year, the horses are a 'uithourit "30 or 60 km with Katjapia buddies from Namibia or Europe. All under the guidance of AB van Wyk an experienced rider.

In may there is the Katjapia Ride. An endurance ride in 2008 dedicated to the deceased Joan Eikelboom. This year it will take plce on the 28 of May
